Will Price Have A Drop Off In Production This Coming Season?

huskies keirh price

I laid out a tease to everyone on twitter and it was that I think that Keith Price will not have a drop off in production this coming season and I will tell you why, it is because of the targets he still has and is building relationships with like Austin Seferian Jenkins, Kasen Williams, James Johnson, Cody Bruns and even guys like Michael Hartvigson and Evan Hudson.

This will be Price’s second season with Williams, Jenkins, Hartvigson and Hudson but all the other guys have been around just as long as Price has so he has had plenty of throwing reps with those guys. Price also has some big targets to throw to this year with his Tight Ends all being 6’6 and around 260 lbs and his Wide Receiving corps that isn’t bad either with guys like Kasen Williams who can leap over defenders with ease like he is superman jumping over a building. Then there are guys like James Johnson and Cody Bruns who have been around Sark’s system for at least three to four years.

Cody and James have great hands and though James struggled at times last season I look for him to bounce back and have great season like three years ago. Once again though it is on the offensive line to give Price time but maybe with Price being healthy coming into fall camp you will be able to see him scramble and make plays like when he was in the Alamo Bowl were he showed up the Heisman Trophy winner RG III and had seven touchdowns, that’s right seven touchdowns!

Price had an amazing season last year throwing for over 3,000 yards and accounting for 33 touchdowns and broke several records including the completion percentage and touchdowns in a single season. At this pace Price is going to own every record at Washington.
