But I wasnt taking a shot stating a fact cause I have someone saying he showed more then Jordan in that game cause he had a better yard per carry but you know and I know Jordan is a better Running Back and thats why you Rank him the way you do plus his running back skills and no offense after watching film on Walla Walla its not hard to show them up in the air or on the ground and Sunnyside may be srcappy but if Davis is as good as you predict then they should have had no problems with a Sunnyside team!!! And I see AP Poll is out it has Chiawana #4 in state and no Richland or Davis I think If the Kennewick Schools were in the same division it would be Chiawana and Kamiakin still no Richland and Davis just like it used to be when Graff was at Pasco It was between those two schools for a reason way better coaching staff but I will give Richland and Davis coaches credit this year especially the coaching staff at Davis cause like 7 years ago when I played for Pasco we beat them 86-21 and we actually pulled all starters in the 2nd quater and now I gotta say these last two years I never thought Id see Davis when more then a game in a single season!!! Congrads to those men and boys and Richland for adding a great coach in Moore but still I think Chiawana gets them in the end, and for future to cause Chiawans JV and Freshman teams are stacked with kids especially a sophmore on the JV who plays running back and qb he rushed for 205 yards on 27 carries and 4 touchdowns on Ikes JV and going on to win 54-0 so I know if someone got hurt Graff and them have back ups ready to play there hearts out and help take pressure off the team but I dont see Richland or Davis with those so lets hope no kids get hurt but its a long season and injuries as much as they suck happen with many weeks left to play!!! Well good luck to all programs but Go Riverhawks

Chiawana had a close game with Pasco a team they should have blown out. I can guarantee you that Sunnyside is a head and shoulders better than Pasco. Sunnyside is a good football team. As far as the 4A being better than the 3A that's not true at all I'd put my money on Kamiakin any day of the week dating back to last year. Chiawana is good they played average vesus Hanford and Pasco and beat up Ike. Lets see what the season has in store. By the way I could careless about any Westside rankings. My record has been pretty spot on the last 3 years when it comes to the CBBN.

Jerry you are wrong about one thing. Last years Riverhawks would have beaten last years Braves. CHS was just a meaner, tougher team. It took everything Ferris had, plus some bad luck on the Riverhawks side for them to beat CHS. Kamiakin vs CHS this year? That one I'm thinking, at least at this stage of the season, would go to the Braves. As for looking at the stats, I look at scoring not rushing and passing yards given up. CHS held Hanford and Pasco to 7 points (not counting the pick six, which can't be credited against the defense). Richland gave up 31 points to those same two teams. Besides, Pasco always plays CHS tough no matter what the sport. This is the week that will tell as far as the two "contenders" to the throne. I still wonder if Richland can defend a good passing attack and on the otherside of the coin, I want to see if Davis can stop a good running attack. It should be interesting. As for KaHS and KHS, I'm thinking that even though those Lion Seniors really want to beat the Braves, Kamiakin will just be too much for Kennewick. I actually hope I'm wrong but I see it as 35-21 Braves. :ugeek:

Kamiakin's defense was every bit as good as the Riverhawks defense was last year and Kamiakin's passing game on a normal week was right there with Ferris. They lost to a dynasty on their home turf. Some bad luck plied into that whole week. Kamiakin's defense was actually impressive nothing you can do when offense has turnover on every possession.

The Riverhawks haven't allowed a point in the first half of a game this year. I'm aware of that defense. But people are trying to justify Davis not being as good because they beat Sunnyside by 8 points. I've seen Sunnyside and I've seen Pasco. The Davis victory is way more impressive to me. This isn't last year's Sunnyside team. Looong season for these youngsters to grow.

By the way West Valley also held Hanford to 7 points.

Came from Spokane again to watch another Chiawana game. News cast I saw at the hotel room last night summarized good (http://www.keprtv.com/sports/130490128.html)
The Walla Walla running star got SHUT down by the middle linebackers of Chiawana. Downing back there with his apparent protege #18 Weber was obviously a shock to WW, as they just hit a wall. Take out the pick 6 and 2nd string defense allowing a TD, and you get the reality of how good this Chia defense really is.

he`s out, really? # 15 for the braves will be very familiar with the term chripractor. That ref may better be utilized at the 8 man level, then the kind of speed and athleticim that was way to fast for him. Even great athletes know when there out of thier prime and steep down to a lower level performance expectation.

KennFan, I have to agree with you on that call. He looked very much in all the way and the ability of the ref to get himself in position may very well have made the difference in the call. That or the need for a new Rx in his glasses. In that game, a call like that can be the difference. Though I think Kamiakin would have then won only 14-13 instead of 14-6. Hutch is the Joe-Cool of the 3A division. He gives that team a quit confidence. :ugeek:

Hey Jerry, West Valley is the real deal. They may win two games this year. Besides, they held Hanford to 1/3 as many points of Richland, if you use your logical thought pattern what does that say about Richland. Plus, last years Kamiakin could win it's only tough road game. The Riverhawks last year were road warriors. Just like coach Graff said, you might have better athletes but I'll take my guys in a street fight anything. Last years Riverhawks were just plain tougher than anyother team they took the field against. You can even ask those Ferris kids. Every game they were the smaller team on the field but the meanest and toughest. :ugeek:
